School House is one of 4 single vineyard Pinot Noirs produced by Gibbston Valley. It is the highest of the Bendigo Vineyards, sitting at 400 meters. It gets its name from the original school house used by the miner's children in the 1860's.
A fine balance between fruit, minerality and acid--this wine was aged for 10 months in new and neutral oak barrels. Offers a floral, spicy nose with dark fruits on the palate. Cellar up to 15 years. Pair with red meats, games, and stews.
